The Bosch GCL 2-15 G Self-Levelling Cross Line Laser has, at its core, a pure green laser diode. This green diode is far more powerful compared to the more common red laser diode. In addition, its lower operating temperature gives the tool a longer service life. The difference between the wavelengths of red and green means that the luminous efficacy of green light is higher than that of red light. The pure green light which the GCL 2-15 G emits is 4 times easier to see, even when working in areas with bright ambient light. The GCL 2-15 G produces both horizontal and vertical laser lines in green. You can choose to have one or the other or project both simultaneously. Furthermore, it projects two centred, red plumb points onto floors and ceilings, which are highly visible in any environment thanks to point concentration of the laser beam. With a range of up to 15m, it makes levelling work in bright environments easy and accurate. The self-levelling function guarantees exact results with an accuracy of ±0.3 millimetres per metre in less than 4 seconds. There is a function for diagonal alignment allowing you to fit handrails on staircases easily and precisely, for example. Using the RM1 Professional Rotating Multi-Functional Mount allows you to align around a plumb point in a 360° radius, without having to re-position the laser. For even greater versatility, the GCL 2-15 G also fits on a standard tripod with a 1/4" or 5/8" thread. A pendulum lock protects the tool during transit and when in storage.
