Petzl have applied a patented hybrid construction to their innovative Sirocco helmet. The vented body of the helmet is made from ePP foam to protect against lateral and rear impact while keeping weight to a minimum. For reinforcement, the top of the helmet is composed of a polycarbonate crown and compact ePS foam liner. The reworked shape fits better and sits lower than the original, improving coverage to the back and side of the head, enhancing comfort and fitting better when worn with a hood. Clocking in at just 170 grams, it's an ultralight choice ideal for climbing and mountaineering.
