The Meindl Mens Lite Hike Gtx Boot is a waterproof hiking boot perfect for hiking, backpacking and trails. Gore-Tex is a waterproof and highly breathable membrane that stops wind and rain while allowing moisture vapour to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable. It is completely windproof, meaning cold winds can't pass through and create unwanted cooling. The membrane is bonded to high performance shell fabrics providing durability and further water repellency whilst being seam sealed for complete waterproof performance. The air active footbed is lightweight, supportive and breathable. It cools your feet down by wicking away the moisture to keep you dry and comfortable all day long. Meindl have developed a rubber sole which uses 22% recycled rubber, this comes from the off cuts from their production. Their aim is to reduce the amount of raw materials they use and how much waste is produced through production, making a more eco-friendly product for the customer. The sole is designed to a high standard and still provides the Meindl grip that we know and love. The Variofix lacing system provides a custom and precise fit around the heel and ankle. It consists of a strap where a lace wire is attached which runs around the ankle. This can be adjusted to your preferred fit giving you stability and comfort in all the right places.
