Disaronno Liqueur is a state-of-the-art amaretto, rumoured to have been the first drink of its kind. An intergenerational family recipe, said to have been created in 1525 by an innkeeper and model as a present for her beloved, a former da Vinci student. Originally an infusion of apricot pits in brandy, Disaronno is made from apricot kernel oil, absolute alcohol, burnt sugar and a secret essence of seventeen herbs and fruits.
