Rhododendron Wren is a garden shrub that grows up to 0.5m tall and has dark green leaves that take on a bronze colour in Winter. The main attraction is, of course, the plant's pale yellow, funnel-shaped flowers which will begin to bloom in Spring. Darker markings appear on the ends of slender stamens from the centre of each flowerhead, whilst its evergreen foliage ensures year-round interest so the lovely flowering has the perfect backdrop. This plant is ideal for adding a burst of colour into a pot or container on its own. It is also an attractive way to complement other flowers within bedding, borders or plant displays. Rhododendrons are low maintenance shrubs. Place them in partial shade. They will tolerate most soils that are kept moist and well-drained. Water them well until established, then maintain regular watering afterwards.
