A two-phase ceramic sharpener, specially designed for Tojiro knives and intended for sharpening all types of knives, except for those with one-sided cut, e.g.. traditional Japanese knives. Thanks to the water, the sharpening process is faster, and the factory-set holes make it easier to sharpen the knife at the right angle. Rubberized and the base has anti-slip properties. Technical data: Dimensions - 19.5 x 7.0 x 7.5 cm. Weight - 305 g Usage Tips 1. Pour water into the wheel chamber and do not pour it out until the end of sharpening. The water moistens the ceramic sharpeners and prevents the blade from overheating. 2. Grab the handle firmly so that the sharpener does not change its position. 3. With the other hand, grab the knife, holding the back of the blade with your index finger. Insert the knife vertically into the groove marked with one dot (coarse grain). Move the blade back and forth while applying light pressure: 7-8 times or as much as needed. You should not press the knife too hard when moving the edge in the sharpener. Excessive pressure can damage the wheels! 4. Insert the knife vertically into the groove marked with two dots (medium grain). Move the blade back and forth while applying light pressure: 7-8 times. 5. After the operation, wash the knife by hand in hot water and wipe it dry with a towel or cloth. Remove the cover and rinse the sharpener in clean water.
