The Ranger Free 120 Walk is an impressively light freeride boot that hikes as well as it skis. A Grilamid shell and cuff keep the weight low without compromising on the performance. Vibram GripWalk soles improve traction; the 3D pre-shaped Active Fit Zone liner can be heat moulded to improve comfort and foot hold. Total weight is under 1600g a boot (size 26.5) and the neatly integrated ski/walk mechanism adds 55° of motion. Given the stats it's easy to understand how this boot is so good on descents and ascents.
