Overview
Phil Casabons pro model ski, the Bdog, caters perfectly to his press and pop mastery. The Circle Flex uses super flexible tips and tails in conjunction with straight sections in the sidecut, located right where the pressing happens for maximum surface area and minimal hang-ups. The core is a mix of poplar and ash woods. The poplar is lightweight, and the full-length ash stringers are high density and tough, together they create an impossibly lively ski. 2.5 Impact edges are oversized and specially heat-treated to resist damage; the S7 base is slick, tough and fast for maximum speed as well as durability. The combination of AR75 Sidewall and AR Freestyle Rocker adds versatility and improved handling. The sidewall runs the length of the ski edge working with the camber underfoot to produce grip on firm transitions and pop on kickers; rocker at the tips and tails ensure smooth handling with no hooking. Thanks to the soft flex it never becomes unruly in the park, in fact this ski pretty much redefines playful. Lock into that tranny in any park or urban setting, stomp and repeat.Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type Its designed for park but its also surprisngly good all mountain. The shape with the long nose and tail and the Circle Flex, makes it super smooth for buttering; this design also shines when skiing fresh snow, letting the ski initaite and release super-easily.Skier TypePark skiers who want something playful to press and butter as well as hit jumps and rails but also get on to the rest of the mountain as well.OverviewShape94mm in the waist feels quick edge to edge and the 15m radius makes it turn nicely on hard pack when taking quick runs down groomers.
