The Hawx Ultra XTD brings together the feel and control of the Hawx Ultra and the natural movement of the Backland range to harmonise freeride ability with awesome uphill capability. The Free/Lock 2.0 system is simple and effective and, combined with the frictionless pivot, provides a fluid 54° of movement. Prolite construction with Grilamid minimises weight. The Memory Fit shell can be heat moulded and the new and very impressive Mimic liner is customisable too. The boot shell is heated in an oven, then the skiers foot is placed inside the complete boot whilst it cools.
